Each year, the Dutch radio channel 3FM has a national charity special in December. During 5 days, 3 radio DJ’s lock themselves up in a special design DJ house. The location of the DJ house changes every year. This year, the centre square of the city of Heerlen was their destination. Charity subject for this year were the refugees from Syria.
Together with Dutch tenor Martin Hurkens, I came up with the idea of performing the duet ‘E Piu Ti Penso’. The videoclip was shot in Heerlen and the recording was done at Marlstone Music in Meerssen. During the charity special, Martin and I had several performances on stage. It was an honour to contribute our share to the charity action and we both loved it! State Newspaper ‘De Limburger’ made a coverage about our initiativ.
